So there will be no new skills for the current classes in chapter 2?
Just been reading the assassin skill list, no matter how many of you have said about how balanced it is, or, how NOT over powered it is, I personaly think the assassin to me seem a very powerful class, as I feel to find situation and position to use its skills is not that difficult.
Seening such wonderful skill list from the assassin, make me think it would be nice for some new skills for the old and current classes too.

the figure i saw was 300 new skills with 90 of them being elites
150 of those go to the new professions (75 each) as their base number
the remaining 150 are split evenly 8 ways not 6 ways so it is 18/19 additional skills per profession over the base of 75 per profession

interesting as that would give the new professions only 75 per and the old ones 100
note i am not saying you are wrong (now) i am saying that would be an imbalance

Consider: HOW could anyone here KNOW the answer(s) to that question? Months before the release of Factions, funnily enough, Anet hasn't released the minute details of new skills.

If you have access to Factions ONLY, you will get 75 skills per class (25 new, 50 old. Of those you will have 15 new elites and 10 new non-elites with 50 skills that will be considered "base skills". The new classes will of course have 75 skills each.
Faction only players will not have access to any of the current elites. This is all gathered from interviews and mags.

Even if he has Beta testers have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, so they cant talk about it.

They are not "loosing skill". There are a number of skills that are "core skills" that you will have access to no matter what chapter you buy. If you have Chapters 1 and 2, you will have 100 skills for each old class. If you only have Chapter 1 or 2, you will have 75 skills for each class.
They're not taking skills away from those who bought Chapter 1, which is what I think you mean by "loosing skill". They will have 75 if you only own one chapter. If you own more than one you'll have more than 75 skills you can use.

Hmm, does anyone know if mesmers will be getting Unnatural Signet, I heard that it was suppose to be in GW (possibly as an elite, mes only have 14 while all others have 15), but it must have been removed at some stage.
